It only took almost a year

but my albums are FINALLY READY!!!!! Cassarino called last night and said everything is done!!!! I know I got married 15 months ago, but I didn't do my album right away -- I had that post-wedding meltdown and couldn't be bothered with the picture thing or anything wedding-related!! We actually didn't do our album until Jan. 26 and after sitting in he!! for over 4 hours, during which time I was ready to kill my DH because he INSISTED on upgrading our portrait to 30x30, when I was most content with a 20x24, which he thought was, and I quote, 'TOO BIG'!! So, we got the billboard a couple of months ago and he turns around and says to me 'it's too big, we're not hanging that' -- ARE YOU FRIGGIN KIDDING ME???? I have news for my darling hubby ( ), that 'billboard' is going up, whether it's on the side of the LIE somewhere or in the front yard or he walks around with it hung over his neck, that IS GETTING HUNG UP!!!!!!

Whew, ok back to the post -- after having spent all that time there the first night, we went back 4 more times after that because we couldn't agree on the darn billboard, so it wasn't put in until mid-Feb, so I guess it didn't take a year after all.

Please don't mind me babbling, I think I've lost my mind today. It's finally Friday and I never thought it would get here!!!

Congratulations!! I used Cassarino too, we got married in June and ordered our album in Sept. I can't wait to get it - are you satisfied with how yours turned out?

Congrats!! That does seem like a long time. We did our albums in mid-July and they were ready in late October - only 3 months. We were so excited and weren't expecting them so soon.

I am so happy for you, ours come in next month and I cannot wait. See I was the opposite Deb, I wanted everything wedding related over with, so I kept the momentum going, to knock everything out in one shot. I know you will enjoy looking at your album for years to come.

I think the 30*30 will look great as a sandwich board around hubby neck You are crazy woman

IM glad to hear that your albulms are ready!!

but you are killing me with the billboard comments! You really should get it framed and put it in your house/apt as soon as you walk in so your husband can be reminded that somethings just are TOO BIG!!! LMAO

LOL ... billboard .... did he have any idea how big that is? Men do just carried away sometimes. My MIL would want a pic of us that big ... floor to ceilling, I can just see it!

Congratulations on the album ... I'm sure it's beautiful. I can't wait to get started on mine!

Sham, how long did you have to wait for your proofs to be ready?! (I'm very impatient, I almost called her twice this week ... Vinnie said to give her a break! )

We got married on Aug 3, we went away for 2 weeks, they were ready the first week in Sept. She will call you when they are ready. Fret not.

Great news! I want to hear where you end up putting the billboard.We had the opposite problem.We ordered our thank-you photos and didn't realize we were going to be so tiny.You can barely see us.I think they should have told us that.

I'm glad you're all laughing!! I'm telling you, when I left that place that night, I had a MAJOR headache and was ready to strangle him!! When we first did the contract with them I wanted the 20x24 and he told me, NO WAY it's too big, so I picked the 16x20 -- well, when we walked in and he said to Razz, 'what other sizes do you have?' and I heard Razz telling him '30x50, 30x80' I RAN OUT OF THE OFFICE SCREAMING!!! They were all looking at me like I was half a nut and telling me that we were the first couple where the groom wants a huge picture and the wife is stopping him!!!!! But of course we're the first couple to do this, look at the both of us! I swear, I think we're Desi and Lucy sometimes!!

I don't know how they turned out but I'll post about it as soon as we go get them. Unfortunately, we can't do it this weekend, going up to the Poconos to MIL's house!!!

The billboard did come out really nice though! And Shamma, thanks! That's the word I was looking for when I said I was going to hang it around his neck!!!!!!!

My husband is too darn cute!! I tell him all the time that he is 'unbelievable' and boy oh boy is that the truth!!!

Glad you have your album. I had that feeling too when I got home from the honeymoon. I didnt want to deal with anything wedding related after running around so much the last few months before the wedding. I was doing alot of it and I really needed the break when I got home. With us, we had to do our album and enlargements within five months of our wedding. Our photographer told us 'how strange' that we didnt want our album immediately, um okay!

on my MIL's computer while it's SNOWING LIKE CRAZY OUT!!!
Maybe if you're both good, you might just find some pictures when

Oh and Cindy, that was me with our video -- the guy called me up one
day and said 'hello, can you give me your pictures so we can do the video,
you've only been married 3 months, don't you want it?' I was mortified!!
I said to him I was probably the first bride he had to call and beg to finish
her video!! LOL

All I can say is THANK GOD all that crazy, stressfulness is finito!!
I wouldn't do that again if you paid me -- I'd pay somebody else!! LOL
