Italy for HM

Has anyone gone to Italy for their Honeymoon? We were thinking of going to Positano or somewhere on the coast. Any feed back would be great!

We did! We went to Venice, Florence, Rome and Sorrento & Capri (only Capri for day trip) for just over two weeks. I loved every minute of it and can't wait to go back one day. Because DH and I are big 'sightseers' and really into history, Venice and Rome were my favorite places although we didn't have a chance to sit still (which was OK with me!). Besides the history and stuff, they are both incredibly beautiful places; I never cried on vacation before until I listened to live classical music our first night in Venice at St. Mark's Square...so incredibly breathtaking.

As far as Sorrento, definitely one of the most gorgeous places I've ever seen. This wasn't one of our favorite places there, however, since there weren't many historical places and learning experiences since that's what we're into. I do have a great restaurant recommendation, though! Capri was definitely a fun experience with the Blue Grotto and all, but we didn't stay for too long there and probably missed the best parts.

Anyhow, FM me for more info if you want. We booked the trip ourselves from a tour company that offered independent (do-it-yourself) tours. This had its ups and downs, but it was definitely an experience and quite the adventure!!!

we actually got married IN florence, then honeymooned in ravello, positano and venice. best trip of my life for many reasons... don't hesitate, just book it!! i have been to italy 3 times - i love it!!!!!! FM me for specifics...
