It's a Boy!!!!

Well, Evan Matthew was born on Saturday night, just one day before his big sister's 7th birthday! He weighed in at 7lbs 7oz and is 20 1/2 inches long.
It was a whirlwind of a day. Emily is a cheerleader for our town peewee football league, so I started out my day on the football field. From there we went back home and I hosted 8 of Emily's friends at her birthday party.(All while in the beginnings of labor) As soon as the last kid left, I called the doctor and was off to the hospital. Evan was born 4 hours later!! Everyone is doing fine.

OMG! You truly get the award for Mom of the Year with that story! As if giving birth wasn't difficult enough....
Congratulations to you on Evan's arrival, and on successfully celebrating Emily's birthday while in labor. You are a super Mom in my book!

Congratulations! How wonderful!!! God bless your new little boy. He sounds like a nice size and delivery doesn't sound too bad. I hope I'm that calm when my day comes.

Emily's at a great age with babies, she must be love helping already

I remember you said you were due around our get together which was supposed to be last night.
Your labor story sounds sooo easy and painless, throw some of that good labor dust over here !

My sister just had her 2nd boy on the 5th, one day before his big brother's 9th birthday!!! How fun!!

So glad to hear you're all doing well. Can't wait to see pics!!
