We talked about it, and both agreed that he needs to take the overtime when it's offered. With the mortgage and home renos, we really don't have a choice!!
I'm making his favorite dinner (surf and turf...mmmm) and I'm going to try to attempt chocolate souffle. It's one of our sweetest memories of our honeymoon...sitting on the porch of a beautiful restaurant in St. Martin, wishing on the stars and sharing a souffle. We also rented 'As Good As It Gets', a movie we saw on one of our first dates. Then tomorrow we'll spend a day out east.
It's hard to believe a year has passed! If the future years bring us even a fraction of the happiness we've found in the past year, we are in for a long and happy life together.
