our safe. it has ALL of our important documents......passports, birth certificates, SSN......etc.

all of our important stuf like documents, jewlery, etc, is in our safe and its too big and heavy too lift, and its fire proof. But id probably empty the safe anyway.

Rings baseball signed by the '52 Yankees (Mantle/Berra, etc) that FIL had personally signed while visiting a major league umprie's house (best wedding gift EVER!) Smokey- yes, my stuffed dog. WAY too much sentimental value.

totally there with you! along with our original lithographs, my Oma's saphire ring, and my laptop, I would take my stuffed pink puffer fish Puffy. If I couldn't take it all, I'd drop some art before Puffy.... Art is covered by insurance, Puffy is family!

i wear my rings every night. i never take them off except to wash my face. hands or when i shower.
i would grab my photo album.- not the wedding photo album b/c that can be replaced. im talking my photo album with friends from college, best firends from home and it has tons of pics of me and dh over the course of our relationship..

my rings, cell phone, wallet and keys (all kept in the same spot right by the bed). Dh would probably grab our safe which has all our important documents in it. I might also grab my laptop.

Well I'm already wearing my rings so I can't count those. I'd absolutely grab my purse, not only for what's inside but habit of leaving the house with it!! And our safe box that has all of our important papers, although that's really designed to survive the fire anyway.

yeah, I totally don't have that excuse.... he was given to me by a good friend, and he basically represents everything in my personality. She saw him, and despite being on a tight student budget said 'oh no, I hope he doesn't cost a lot' becuase she knew he had to go to me....
The fish is protected at all costs! Oh, and so are our giant microbes, but that's a whole other story
