I've created a monster

I've created a monster

DH keeps bugging me about going back to Disney. It comes up at least once every week.

DH HATED Disney from when he was a kid but I guess that changed on our 1st trip to WDW together last year and then we went to DL in California for my birthday. Now he's like obsessed! SOOO eager to go back and that's great but like...I haven't even booked a honeymoon for us yet! While it's nice once in a while, I worked for them for years and it isn't as exciting for me!

He just called me to tell me he was talking to another teacher about Disney and he wants to go over Spring Break. NO! We spent two days there last Spring because we were in FL for my uncle's wedding and we had a few days to kill before a Bahama's cruise and I had extra comp tickets left over. Lines were over 2 hrs each and I don't know enough people to get backdoored at the E-ticket attractions.

Sorry I know this is a lame vent but ugh

Awww he'll get over it. Remind him that sometimes seeing the world is even more exciting than seeing it Disney-fied!

When I was a kid, my mom used to take me and my brother every single year in August to Florida to Disney World. We went 14 years in a row. Being able to explore the 'real' world now as an adult is so much more exciting! Disney is great, but when we went for my 30th bday in April and experienced all the awful lines, it was terrible.

Remind him that when you've got kids, you'll go back and it'll be worthwhile again! And maybe by then they'll figure out a way to eliminate lines even better than fast pass does.

that's so much fun! I went with a group of former dream squad-ers from CA to FL last February and we met up with some from their squad! Being with so many people was a blast!

He has like 0 interest in travel but I'm the opposite when it comes to world travel. I mean, he's along for the ride but he's sad he can't have goofy sit with him at breakfast.
