its been quite a week ladies---DH had nasal surgery on wednesday and i've been his nurse! i swear it truly sux seeing your hubby in pain and having to change bloody bandages and stuff. i wanna make it alll go away.
how you ladies been!? i'm at work now, but dying to get out of here to chk up on my babyyyyy!!

yeah...we were a little concerned that the bleeding hadn't stopped. so while i was at work he called the doctor to ask when it would stop and the doc asked him to come in today. luckily a good friend of mine was able to pick him up and take him --- cause DH wasn't able to breathe thru his nose yet (they have all kinds of packing all the way up into his sinus cavity!) and the doc said he should have been able to breathe already and the blood should have stopped. so he fixed him up---he's not really in pain...just annoyed he can't breathe except thru his mouth!
i have the entire wknd with him at least!

You should find a nurse's halloween costume, like one of the really sexy ones, and wear that while you take care of him. That'll make him feel better! Hope he's doing better!

Glad to hear it's been taken care of. I've had 3 rhinoplasty/septoplastys and the bleeding usually stopped by the 3rd/4th day. It really is more annoying than painful. I remember waking up with blood stuck to the roof of my mouth and all sorts of grossness!

Well its good to hear that its normal to bleed for 3-4 days from someone else. yeah yesterday DH was spitting up grossness and his lips were all crustified with crap. i am just keeping my eye on the prize----he will be able to FINALLY breathe thru his nose! woooohoooo!

he's quite the silly one. we joke that my friend kami is his future mistress -- and she's the one that took him to the dr. for me today. so i think they are hanging at my apt. right now waiting for me to get home....he said that the way to make his nose feel better is a menage a trois.
