In the photo titled 'A Maid of Honor more nervous than the bride?!' Is the guy in that photo named Joe last name starts with a T (i dont wanna post last names). and lives out in Eastern Suffolk ? and wifes name is Denise. He really looks like someone i know. Would be too funny if it were him.

Well how we know them, we were their neighbors in Astoria, the loud Italian family next door, who gave them homemade fresh pasta and meatballs all the time ! Just ask them about the twins in Astoria, theyll know. When we met them they were dating, they were the 'cool couple' next door, we adored them and still do. We keep in touch with them since they moved and got married in 1988 I beleive. We always involve eachother in special occasions, were you at Denise's parents surprise 60th ? Were you at their wedding ? (you probably didnt know your hubby that long ago)

something funny, that will make joe blush, they are about 10 years older than my sis and I so when we were 13, they were 23-24, the cool couple with identical corvettes and motorcyle, well we though D was the coolest and prettiest thing and wanted to be just like her, and when we saw joe, we'd BEG him to make a muscle so we could feel it !! HAHHHHH.
WE always joke about that. Gosh thinking back, poor Joe had these 13-14 year old girls hovering over him !! LOLLLLLLL. they are the cutest couple.
and theyd kill me if they knew i posted this online!

Our wedding was in July 2001, so you were about 8 months before us. We are coming up way too quickly on our first anniversary!

YES! I was at that party!! This just gets funnier and funnier!! I think it was the summer of 1997? I sang the Gilligan's Island theme song for the DJ and won a T-shirt.

I'm from near AStoria General, that area. I went to public schools (LIC HS) I have several friends and cousins that went to ST Johns Prep. What a small world !!

It is so funny how small the world seems at times
As for St Johns Prep--I have a funny story--I lived on the top floor of it for a year--it used to be a convent (no I was not studying to be a nun!!!) I volunteered for a year after college and a group of 6 of us lived there rent free-- Astoria was my home until we got married-- I still miss parts of it but am glad to be out of the 'city'
