The concert was AWESOME! I can't say enough about it. They are 2 truly gifted men, and their voices were such a compliment to each other. You will have an amazing time! I clapped so hard and so often that one of the diamonds in my wedding ring popped out and got lost. I am so sad, and Patrick is FURIOUS because I just took it a few weeks ago to have the prongs checked. I think the jeweler should replace it free of charge...

JennRenee, that stinks!!!!!!!!!! The jeweler should definitely replace the stone at no charge!! Argh!!!! I'm glad you had fun at the concert, though.

My engagement ring is insured, but not my wedding ring... Boy am I sorry we never made time to do that! Oddly enough, I haven't worn my e-ring in a few weeks because I got my fingers slammed in a SUV door and bent a prong. I've been meaning to get that fixed, now I can add the other ring to the pile. I have a plain platinum band that I wear on my right hand, and I tried to move it to my very nakid left, but it's too big. now i don't even look married any more.

Yes, it was Elton and Billy. I hope you have a great time! It was pretty horrifying when my diamond got lost, but not even that could ruin how amazing the concert was. It was a small diamond, just under 1/4 carat, so if we do end up having to pay to have it replaced it won't cost much.

Oh Jen, I'm so sorry to hear about your ring!!! How horrible!!!! Give that jeweler a piece of your mind!!!

About the floors, Diane, how long did you need to be out of the house ? I want to get it done in my house, or at least the nursery to start and DHis worried about my being home with the infant and inhaling that stuff ...

WE had 3 coats put on. The day he did the polyerathane, we werent supposed to walk on it all day. We were able to walk on it that night.
After he applied all 3 coats, were werent supposed to move the furniture back in the room for 3 days.
We had a alot of take-out.
I should get commission
