okay so here's the deal...money's been tight for a little while...so DH is looking to pick up another job on top of running his company. He wants something that is gonna bring in some extra(and decent) cash flow, but where he'll still have time to work on getting his business off the ground...any ideas??? He was thinking of being a personal driver, but most driving jobs we're finding involves a commercial vehicle where he'd need a CDL liscense. so again any ideas of something that pays alright but isn't going to take up his days from morning till night???? ANY ideas would be great! TIA

Re: job possibilities???
What about bartending one or two nights? If you're in the right place that can be a cash machine, and the hours are manageable if he can do just 1-2 shifts a week??

nah...while it brings in a nice amount of money he's already mentioned that he doesnt wanna be in that kind of an atmosphere. I was actually gonna pick up a waitressing job since i've waitressed before...but around here 1) the same people have been at the same places for forever and 2) because of the statement above & the fact that the winter is SOOO slow - NOBODY is hiring. and DH didnt want me getting a waitressing job in the city & having to take the subways home to queens at all hours of the night....he refuses to get a waitering job himself.I told him he cant be picky & it's decent money, but we run into the same problems i stated above anyway (the fact that nowhere is hiring untill late spring really) & he just wont. but thankyou for the bartending suggestion

Re: job possibilities???
I would look on careerbuilder.com, there are alot of PT jobs that are available, obviously he is not stupid since he is doing his own business so I am SURE he will get a good paying job even if its only temporary

What about Home Depot? My BIL who is a loan officer during the day works there a few days a week and some weekend days to bring in some extra cash. You can work all sorts of different hours and I believe it's around $18 an hour or so.
