jokey joke joke on DH

DH is a BIG time *jokester* BIG TIME. To the point where it is ANNOYING..

I can't even watch a scary movie with him b/c not ONLY do I have the anxiety of something popping up on screen that makes my heart race, but I have to worry about DH startling me as well...

Know how he proposed? He put the ring in the refrigerator..

Anyway, I bought him a sports illustrated Ny Giants commemorative hard cover issue thingamagig... for father's day...

I'm going to wrap up a book titled:

'French Gay Modernism'
(an ambitious project that traces French literary representations of male homosexuality in the half of the 20th century)

(mum is an english professor and always has access to books other profs are giving away... I didn't actually PURCHASE said book..)

I think it 'd be funny b/c this book would be the OPPOSITE of the spectrum from what my DH (who doesn't even READ books...let alone books on literature) a sports-enthused nauseating macho cheeseball WOULD read

he was cooking dinner and asked me to get some fresh garlic from the fridge for him... I had *JUST* gotten home from work (to which I'm *always* in a awesome mood...) had a ton of bags with me etc etc.

I was |--------| this close to giving him a 'tude.

thankfully I didn't because the ring was in there with a note (written by my son) that said 'will you marry me?'

I thought it was fake and he was just f*cking with me

again with the jokes...
