JUNK MAIL

I finally started receiving junk mail!!! I believe it was generated via LIWeddingPages b/c all of it comes from LI based vendors!

When does it stop after you are married? how can I stop it?

It hasn't stopped for me yet. For me it only started after I signed up for that 1000 contest...during my wedding planning I was careful not to give my real address, phone or email to many people. I get a couple pieces of mail a week and phones calls here and there on weekends. I was getting a bunch of emails but everytime I got one I replied take me off you mailing list and it has eventually stopped. When they call, I ask them to take me off their mailing list immediately.


Otherwise, I ignore it and throw it away.

I just called LIWedding pages and asked them to take me off their list. They said that they'll cancel my user ID, and I am hoping it will stop soon.

I was only able to figure it out b/c its the only one place where I gave my home address, so that they can snail mail me a free magazine...

Email I don't mind so much, b/c I have a 'junk mail' acct.

isn't it so annoying? I'm kicking myself too because all throughout my planning, I was so careful not give out my info to vendors at shows, etc. Then when I entered this contest, I foolishly assumed it wasn't going to be shared with anyone else. Sometimes lessons are best learned the hard way

I asked LIW to take me off their lists, and I have noticed a decrease in mail, but I still get some each week.

Don't feel bad they have been calling me on my darn cell phone, I ask a woman that called me the other night, where did you get my number? my cellphone # at that, she was like from Dance somebody, she was from a Dj company, I was like, please remove me from your list, I am already married. We have been bombarded at home with more photo and limo flyers than when I was getting married. SO much waste of postage, I just dump them
