Just celebrated our 1 year anniversary

WOW!

Time flies when you're having fun!

Yesterday (July 4th) DH and I celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary. We had a great day (and weekend for that matter).

We've had our ups and downs this past year, but I think it only made us stronger. I love my husband more than I ever thought I could. We've even learned to handle each other's annoying habits!

Our weekend started out by going to the Yankee/Met game on Friday night. It was a very disappointing loss for the Yanks, but we went with a couple of friends and had fun anyway.

Saturday we went up to DH's best man's house in CT for a BBQ. The food was incredible and we had a blast.

Sunday (our anniversary) we ran some errands (still have to do that you know!) and spent some time with our parents. We went to dinner at 6pm at Burton & Doyle's (recommended by some ladies on this site) and had a fabulous dinner. At night, we watched the Jones Beach fireworks from our house (I can't believe we were able to see them from here, but we could) and then we just watched a movie together.

It was a great evening.

Today, we were going to go to Coney Island and the NYC aquarium, but the weather isn't really cooperating, so we are off to do some furniture shopping!

I need to thank all the fine ladies on this site who offered unlimited advice while I was planning my wedding.
