Just Checking In!

Hi everyone!!

I just wanted to check in and say HI!

I've been so tremendously busy with the house that I barely have time for anything else. There is SO much that needs to be done, and so much cleaning that my poor hands are chapped.

I'm settling in, but also starting to feel homesick. I really miss the Island, and don't think I could make the Bronx my home for very long. (No offense Bronx folks). I'm just used to my nice yard and driveway, nicer people (the drivers are SO MEAN!), a bright sunny home (his house is so very dark). sigh...

Hopefully over the summer we'll have a new home of our own. But for now I'm just happy we're together.

Hey sweetie, we miss you around these parts. I am glad you are doing well. It will be your home soon, but you have the right perspective, as long as you are together. PS remember little by little you will add your own touches to it. Rome was not built in a day.

I'm in the Woodlawn area, which is pretty nice. It's just different from what I'm used to. Different isn't always bad, but it's still a big adjustment for me.

I bought a very pretty wreath for the door, and that made me feel better today. It's the little things...
