Just found interesting website!!

I just logged onto confetti.co.uk - sort of the UK equivalent of the Knot and found that they have chat boards!!

Now, don't worry, I'm not abandoning you guys... ...actually there doesn't seem to be much activity on their newlywed boards and I don't really like the format. But, it's fun to see how different/similar their posts are! I just posted a hello, so lets see how friendly they are!

I can't believe you were even looking! If you're happy with us, why do you need to look elsewhere for satisfaction? If the other board was better, would you have left us for it? Trading us in for a newer, younger, closer-to-home model? You're breaking our hearts! If we were good enough for you, you wouldn't want to see what else is out there! Do we not give you what you need? What you want? What you desire?

That is funny though.... I wonder how much or how possible it would be to hve a long island-type wedding in one of the suburbs of London..... I know when my cousin came to be in my bridal party she freaked....she said that the wedding there are totally different & usually the reception is at the bride's family's house. She was completely blown away.

You can win Swarovski nails on there! I guess thats the 'in' thing in the UK!

I think its a great site to reference other ideas. I had a friend visit London while I was engaged and bring me wedding magazines from there that had great flower and hair pictures.

Yeah, they do wacky things with their hair here. A few veils, not too many, mainly flowers, but my SIL had FEATHERS in her hair for her wedding!!

We just went to a wedding in Wales that was in a tent at the girl's parent's house. It was nice, but very different from LI--mainly in the amount (or complete lack there of) of food that they serve.

I find the food thing to be a generaly difference...even when you go to restaurants...we give 3x the food!

Flowers in her hair... that must have looked very cool!
