this sux. a friend ordered a platter from my registry (rosenthal, not anything super exotic) and it was backordered for about 8 weeks. Today, I got an email they cancelled her order
this stinks.......

even if its beyond my control, I still feel a bit embarassed by this situation. I chose the item and the store, and then my friend gets the runaround by purchasing from the registry
