I am an absolute wreck. i've had 3 panic attacks in the last hour and a half since it happened. If anybody knows of ANYTHING...please let me know...I'm FREAKING out!!!
and to top it all off ...tomorrow is my birthday!!!

what type of job are you looking for??
i know it maybe hard to believe now but things do happen for a reason. everybody that i know that got laid off ended up getting a BETTER job.
i may need to take my own advice. i work on wall street & everyday i go to work wondering if i am next
try not to panic. No job is worth your health....

I'm so sorry..Keep your head up! things work out for the better. My dad and my husband got laid off this year as well...my dad just recently and my dh 2 months before our wedding..Both situations worked out for the better!!! My dad found a better job closer to home, and my dh found a job where he can make just as much money but work a lot less hours. Which worked out better for me! Trust me...although it seems hopeless..things happen for a reason

I was a store manager for nine west before, a co-manager for the childrens place and an assistant manager for a high end luxury shoe store...I also worked as an assistant & sales rep for an evening handbag showroom in the city.

Happy Birthday.... hang in there. I got laid off too right before my wedding. It was good to have some time right before the wedding and I started looking mid-nov. I had one interview and they want me to come back. Hopefully we will both wind up with better jobs. Good luck!!!
