Just got my B pic book and have to say...

Ladies who are thinking about mking your guy a book...DON'T choose 12x12 just because it has a pretty cover!!!
It came out nice but DAYUM WAY too much of me like BLAM HERE I AM!!!

So needless to say, I'm not comfortable with it at all-iI know only he will see it but its like REALLY narcissitic, almost like hanging a wall size pic from your wedding in the living room....

Smaller format would have been better..8x8 maybe but I just thought the larger size would allow me to put more pics ona page. It did BUT seriously..one some where theres one photo its just ALLL there to see...Oh well..boys like T&A so should be fine.... Cest la vie.

ETA: ANyone wnating to use snapfish, its a GOD AWFUL interface. Really non user friendly BUT...The quality is FANTASTIC! Definetly more expensive than the other places but the quality of the pages is much higher than even Picaboo and you know how much I love them. They also have large format books which many places do not and they ahve a 110% gurahntee which I LOVED.

If for ANY reason you are unhappy, they will reprint it or refund you so its def worth the $$. Just wanted to let y'all know.

Wso cares if its YOUR bedroom wall. No one goes in there ona general basis I am assuming.

Im just not entirely comfortable in my own skin on the best of das so its a little WHOA for me. I'll get over it but yea..definetly 'eye-catching' to say the least.

Why rethink it? Your pictures were gorgeous. If our Day After 'formals' come out well I am defiently enlarging one of them. We only had one great close up formal shot ot Pete and I at the wedding.

He's going to love the book, so what if the pics are really big.
Better yet, he gets the real thing.

Just definetly something to think about with creating albums. I DO wish Id made our wedding album this size. Alot more page to work with.

I had done my HM album with them and after reading a review you did one day about picaboo I thought I might have made a bad choice.
I didn't know about the 100% guarantee either b/c one of my pix were scratched and I never complained to them about it. It was on the front cover too.

I am still on a search for hot pink covers..Don't hold out Jenn if you find one.

I found it confsing to use. Like when you sign up alot of hoops to jump through. Picaboo is very straight forward especially when you want to share your book with someone. ou just send them a link and its upfront. But snapfish allowed that and yet when people clicked the link they couldnt just view it. They had to be members which meant making a free acocount then they were asked to load pics...just a lot of steps. Picaboo is just easier to use.

BUT again I think the quality of snapfish definetly nicer-heavier weight pages and a nice subtle gloss. I asked them what would happen if they orederd my book wrong because the order didnt show the right cover and they said they would just take it back no issue AND its a 110% gurantee because if you're unhappy they give you a ten percent coupon for your next purchase.

OMG Jenn don't be so shyyyy the brief peek I had at the pix you showed here tells me DH is going to be speechless. And you know boys... bigger is better!!!

Did you go for the red velvet or the leather???? Either way I bet its an AWESOME keepsake.

And I never catch stories about the reveal!!!! You have to tell us how you present it and how long it takes him to recover!!!!!

I'm sure he's going to LOVE it! You looked beautiful in those shots, so don't worry about their size. can't wait to hear about the reaction!

Glad you liked the way it came out though. I've used Snapfish several times, but I've never done a book. Good to know that the quality is so good.
