Just need to vent about DH

DH has 2 race cars, they used to be at his grandma's house because she has a bigger garage and longer driveway and lives 10 mins from us. There was a big ordeal between his uncle that lives with grandma so now the cars and trailer are at our house. One car in the garage, the other in the backyard, and his big @ss trailer in our driveway. So now him and the guys that work on the cars will always be here working on them, no biggie.

Today I come home from work and would love to be sitting in the little bit of our yard that is left and using the bbq, but I can't because they are working on the cars and its just akward to be back there. I cook dinner and when its done DH comes in and makes a comment that I didn't ask the guys if they wanted anything, *** seriously I have to feed these people too. DH pays them to work on the cars, so they are not here working for free. I'm just annoyed because I am now stuck in the house and me and the puppy can't enjoy the backyard.

I'm sorry! I think it's ludicrous that DH expected you to feed these people on top of him paying them! Next time he says something like that I would ask him if he felt like cooking extra food for these people!

I'd be upset too. Its one thing if they were doing him a favor its another that he is paying them. I hope things get better with the car situation.

i would def be upset too!!!! sometimes boys just dont think..i would have the girls over and tell him to pick up a pizza for u guys

ughhh racing season
luckily DH & I dont have the space or cash flow for him to really race. But I can totally understand the annoyance!

Is there anyway for him to rent a small garage near by?
When they would work on the cars at his grandma's house, what would they eat? If they werent fed - then there shouldnt be any difference while they are at your home...

When they finished working on the cars FIL sent DH a text asking if I was happy if the cars were here, I guess he sensed I wasn't when he was over. So I told DH how I felt and that we can't afford to be feeding these guys everynight and now he understands and knows that we won't be feeding them-woohooo one battle won

i know how you felt, DH now has three race cars stored in three different places and the latest one (which he bought last week) is now in the garage and its taking up so much room!
