So far I've noticed there is no general consensus, and that everyone's situation is very isolated. I just wanted to know what everyone else considered 'normal'??

We see DH's siblings a lot more than his mom or dad. I haven't seen MIL in a while, probably not since Christmas, but DH has seen her since then. We get along well, but we've just been busy on the weekends. We probably see his dad once per month, sometimes more, sometimes less. We see my parents 1-2 times per month. We live about an hour away from all of our parents.

So far we have been seeing them about every weekend or every other weekend. My family unfortunately all lives in NC so I don't get to visit with them often, luckily my in-laws are great and I love them.

We see my IL's probably once a month or once every other month. Our weekends are filled with my family..................
I feel bad sometimes, but my family has more fun

when FIL and his GF are in NY about once a week, when they are in FL not for a couple of months.

All the time! Usually every weekend, we try and get together for dinner with DH's parents at least once a week, or stop by for coffee. We see mine once a week, every other week. But I work out at the gym where my parents live so I always pop in to see mom and dad!
We all live pretty close by.

We see my mother 2 times a week because she is elderly and not well. My 3 siblings and I divide the week so she isnt lonely. We need to spend more time with DH's parents.

We see the IL's about 1-2 times a month, usually more in the summer. We're actually heading there today. Tehy live about an hour away. DH sees them a few times a week b/c he works about a minute away so he stops by on his dinner break usually (he works from 2pm-11pm) We see my SIL and BIL about once a week or once every other week-they also live an hour away but we get together for dinner a lot. They are looking to move out here so they come here a lot.
We see my Mom all the time - we live in an apt in her house!! And we see my Dad about 1-2 times a month too.

My parents we see every week cuz we have pizza night and do laundry

I see them probably 2-3 times a week but they live around the block from us. I see my SIL and BIL about once a week on Sunday's. We always get together for dinner on Sunday's

Every day - we're living with them at the moment.
Before that though, we would see them once or twice a week for dinner or other family parties.

My ILs also never have anything nice to say. Luckily my ILs live in GA so we only have to see them for major holidays. My SiL livves downstairs and we only see her once a month or so.
