Just returned from LI and look what I got accomplished!!!

YEAAAAH ME!
With notebook and all my questions ready, FH and I had a whirlwind weekend. But we accomplished exactly what I wanted...So, here goes:
Photo and video: VIP
DJ: Spin Around Sound

WOO HOO!
**checkmark, checkmark, checkmark**

Oh, it was hard! Michelle, I met with Mark Kaufman. Acutally, not Mark, but Pedro. Mark had an emergency and couldn't make it. Stunning work! I'll FM you details...we decided with VIP. FH and I really connected with John...I think we'll have a lot of fun.
And SAS...total connection!
So other than waking up on Monday in a cold sweat (did this happen to any of you guys?) thinking,
a. did we make the best decision
b. did we see enough vendors to make the best decision
c. no one is going to show up to the wedding (!)

My weekend visit to Long Island was extremely productive!! (And we even had time to look at hotels, have a slice of pizza, scope out beach photo spots, and have a bagel!)

Next visit Easter...hmmm, what can I accomplish that weekend? Any ideas? Maybe dress shopping with my Mom on Saturday?

THANK YOU GIRLS, as usual, for all your feedback, help and ideas. I really don't think I could plan this long distance without LIWeddings and you!

Thanks everyone!!! Yeah, it was great to be home and check things off! We looked at hotels near JA's (Route 110 area) to get some ideas, being our date is July 4th. I guess florists would be next...(Burtons is definitely on the list. Haha, me and my lists!)
However, I can't make up my mind on BM colors! I would like either black/sky blue combo (very Audrey Hepburn looking...) or claret red.
I think the black/ice blue combo would look nice...I like a blue/beachy feel, but classy.
OK sorry, I'm rambling!!!
Maybe I'll take my girls out on the Saturday before Easter to look around...
Let the shopping begin!!

p.s. - I just have to add, I feel kinda guilty posting over here. Should I? I mean, I have been on this site awhile, reading all your posts from when I started. I was a looker, not a poster, back then. And it's all of your names I remember, advice you gave, ideas you shared. Is that silly?
