Just thought I'd let you all know....

That after all the wonderful supposrt I received about my DH grandmother...I just wanted to let you all know that she passed away this morning...I think it is a relief for all of DH family especially my MIL... SO I guess the suffering is over

I am so sorry to hear that. Sometimes even though we don't want it to happen it is better than to see her suffer.

I hope she is resting in peace. I am sorry for their loss, but I understand why they are relived that she is no longer in pain.

See, the people that goes thru the emptiness after the loved one has passed does not understand that. I agree that they are in a better place and out of pain. All the best to you and your family. May her soul rest in peace.

That I understand... She was on a feeding tube and they just put her into a nursing home... But she has a the final stage of Alhizmers for the last 3 years.. The weird thing is when we wen to see her right before christmas eve.. is was like she recognized my husband and SIL... it was really weird... But like you all said she is now resting in peace...

I am sorry to hear she's gone but now her suffering is over. We watched my grandmother deteriorate with Alzheimer's, so I can understand the relief.
