Just want to say hi....and vent...

Hi! I just got married at Flowerfield last sunday! The wedding was fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about my vendors!!!!

And I am very excited to join the Newlywed board!

Now for the vent....

Our celebration has been cut short b/c yesterday, the day after our wedding, DH and I got very sick and had to cancel our honeymoon. We feel so sick now and we are depressed that our happy celebration is over.

Has anything like this happened to anyone?

So sorry that this has happened to both you and DH.
Better that it happened while you were still home then to get sick while away.

This is true. And also better that it happened the day after the wedding, instead of the day of. Although I had a terrible cold during the wedding too, but not as bad as now. I had to keep a tissue tucked in my bouquet. And the best man had to hand me a tissue right during the ceremony.

i'm so sorry u & DH had to cancel ur plans!! but atleast u can go another time when the two of u can truly enjoy urselves...i hope ur feeling better soon! Congrats & welcome!
