Was going through shutterfly albums looking for pics of our HM and found pics of...
MY student teaching! LMAO well one day anyway-our final project when I did a unit on Kevin Henkes and Lilly. I miss my kids but you get to see me in all my wacked out future teacher glory And yes I had the parents ok these pics when I took them.
(Lilly is a MOUSE hence the outfit..She wears big green sunglasses and disgusies and calls herself the queen of the world and struts around ina crown and red boots.)

oh yeah... that's true..
My son's school is ridiculous now about people taking photos.. I couldn't take pictures of him getting star of the month.. OR on his school trip.

My students LOVED those.
I had one little boy who was..a 'difficult' (cue spawn0 child but a good kid at heart. He NEVER sat still for any book but Lilly...he LOVED Lilly cause she's a HANDFUL but she always redeeems herself like he would. He used to shush the other kids yelling 'SHUT UP! I want to hear the story!' It made me feel good that I could reach him.

I know how you feel, I miss the kids I student taught too. Every year I think about what grade they're in and wonder how they're doing.
