just wanted to share! (with pics of course)

steve got his black belt in brazilian jiu jitsu on saturday! i am SO SO proud of him!! he has been training for 5 and a half years... it takes many people like 7-10 years to get their black belt! he has been so dedicated and has worked so hard. sooo... i surprised him with a cake from Sweet Things in Oceanside. chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling. it was so nice and so delicious!







also on saturday we went to an engagement party for my BIL (byron) and FSIL (Lurdez). it was at the imperial room in inwood (that's her place).. it was really nice and it was great to spend time with steve's family...



this picture stinks.. but they dedicated a song to us and congratulated us on our 1-year anniversary which i thought was so sweet



the bride and groom to be were running around all night and i was barely able to get a picture of them, but here's what i have so far... horrible picture but you can see her pretty dress!



on sunday we went to my cousin's house. my aunt brought her dog over... she is so adorable in a funny way! her tongue sticks out of her mouth.. it's hysterical!



AND.. big news... my parents' shih tzu had puppies!

i don't have any pictures on the computer yet... but she had 5 puppies. three all black, one black and white all over, and one that is almost all black with two bands of white fur! they are soooo adorable!

saturday is my best friend's (jennielovesbryan) wedding at woodbury country club, so i'll definitely post pictures after that!

you guys are so freakin cute!!!!!

Congrats to Steve!!!! That's really great - question, did he continue training in San Diego? But he gets his belts here since he started here? Just curious.

The engagement party looks great - the dress looks very pretty on you! And how sweet that they dedicated a song to you guys! That's really touching.

And YOU MUST MUST MUST post pics of the puppies!!!! Are they selling/giving the puppies???

yes, he continued training in SD.. but he's only been training there for a year... he knows soca for a long time and it was really special to get this black belt from him..KWIM?

i'll post pictures of the puppies soon! the mommy is being very protective right now and i don't want to disturb them too much!

I have to say, you def have to share your secret on how to schedule so many things in one week! I'm like, how amazingly good timing that you were able to come to NY and go to your BIL's e-party, your BFF's wedding, for Steve's black belt test, heck even to be here for the birth of puppies! I mean, I try to schedule 2 doctor's appointments and can't get the days I want I think it's great that you guys are able to do so many things while you're here!

Can't wait to see the puppy pics! I'm totally trying to convince DH that we need to get a 2nd female puppy!!!!! I need cute puppy pics to work on him some more

WOW congratulations to your DH, that is very impressive and that he did it in 5 1/2 years so he should be very proud of himself. I always wished i got into martial arts hahaha.
