Just wondering...

This is in no way a knock against the investigation going on for the pyscho serial sniper .. I've just been wondering ..

With all the cameras around these days, on the roads, in parking lots .. I'm just a little surprised nothing has been caught on tape somewhere. I mean, how exactly did they get that mother beating up her little daughter on tape? (I don't know that whole story .. was that incident taped by a person who happened to go past??)

I really hope they get this person before another attack happens!

I think he's scared now that they got the military involved. I really hope they get him soon and before he claims anohter victim.

I have a relative getting married in VA next month and I'm a little apprehensive about going now.

They said they think he is staying far away and shooting and he is out of reach of the videos etc...who knows, that is why they think its a military person, he is supposedly using a hire power rifle that can shoot from great distances. I really hope they get him soon

Someone at my job had a good point: He thinks its terrorists.They shot or killed 9 people in 11 days.
He said that and now I think he could be right.
Its so scary. I hope they catch them soon!

OMG Susan, do you work with my husband? He just said the same thing to me a little while ago about the 9-11 thing. He also feels it's terrorists .. me, I'm not sure what I think .. and it's hard to think much with all the conflicting reports out there. Seems like the witnesses are having trouble with their stories, which I can understand .. I mean, when something like that is going on around you, who can think straight.

Here's something scary that happen to me tonight .. driving east-bound on the LIE, something hit my car hard .. I was thinking a rock ... then I noticed the exit sign for Searingtown Road, and it totally creeped me out. I did the best I could to get low in the car, and speed away as fast as I could. Part of me thought I was probably just over-reacting, that it probably was just a rock .. but these days, who knows .. it's such a sick world out there!! I'll take a good look over my car in the morning when it's light out.

Oh great, if its a terrorism thing with 9-11 or 11-9 I will be flying home from vacation on 11-9 from cancun. Wish me luck ladies, I am scared

My husband was just driving through that area the week before all this stuff started happening. How scary.
He was also telling me about the terrorist theory...with 9-11 and 02 survivors. Very scary, I hope they catch whoever it is SOON!

sorry, but the numbers theory is ridiculous. You can make numbers mean anything...I don't think its terrorists (at least not the Al Queda kind - its definitely terrorizing.)

Counting this weekend's shooting there are 3 survivors, 13 shots fired and 9 killed over 17 days. What do those numbers mean?

I'm heading to Bethseda for a wedding this weekend - not too excited about entering sniperville. Lets hope the guys they have in custody turn out to be the sniper(s).

I don't know if it is Al Qaida terrorism, but it certainly is filling people down here with terror. I was in Bethesda, MD this past Sat night when the last person was shot. It was very scary. Thankfully we were right off the beltway, so we were on major roads for our drive back up to Baltimore.

I did hear this morning that they have someone in custody. Apparently the sniper left a note at the scene on Sat and told the police he was going to call them from a certain number, he didn't and this morning they were asking him publicly to call them. Then a man was arrested in a phone booth after exiting a white van. I don't know if any of this will pan out, but that's what I heard at a deposition this morning.
