when are you not considered a newlywed anymore?

We like to say it'll be when we start having kids!

So we can be newlyweds for a while longer

oh boy that means perpetual newly weds for us!
when we calculated that dh would be 80 when junior finished high school we figured nah that won't work.

I've also heard you're 'newlyweds' till you have your first fight as a married couple in which case we were newlyweds for all of a week (maybe!)

But I think most people say it's one year.

I say it's a state of mind. We want to be newlyweds forever!

I'm not liking that first fight rule......that means we stopped being NW's before we got home from the HM!
