Much better thanks! I took good care of them and now the burn looks like a slight sunburn. They do hurt a bit but not nearly the way they did on Friday!
Thanks again for checking in!

Re: Kelly4
Michele: I copied and pasted from my previous post. Thanks for asking.
It's a long story, but a friend of the family who is a plumber came over today to fix our heat, but when he was showing me how to turn the valuve to empty the hose to the burner, boiling hot water shot out with great force and ended up shooting all over my legs! I couldn't get away from it quick enough and now I have huge red prickley burns on both of my thighs. I have been icing them for 2 hours now, but they are still very painful. What should I do? Do I need to go to the dr/hospital? I am scared. My DH is at work right now.
Thanks for your help! lora

OMG, Lora! I missed this too! Are you okay? Did you go to the doctor??? I am so sorry to hear this...you poor thing - it must be so painful to have clothing touching your skin! OUCH!
Try some aloe, maybe that will be soothing. Hope you continue to heal quickly!!

Re: Kelly4
You should go to the doctor. Burns are nothing to play with. OUCH!!!!!!! that hurts bad too. Don't mess around with this. You can scar also. A doctor can make sure you don't get an infection and give you real pain killers for this. Feel better
