When did you or do you at all - change your beneficiaries on documents to your DH and did, or do, you plan to do a will now that your married?
Changing beneficiaries seems so time consuming.

Re: Kinda morbid but...
I started to do it as soon as I changed my name...Luckily they did it at work for me for my 401K! Now I need to do my life insurance

Re: Kinda morbid but...
I am in the process of doing all that now. Life, 401k, pension, investment accounts, it IS time consuming especially on top of all my other accounts I am having to change my name on right now.
DH has already switched his over to me. We joke around about it. Whenever he asks me if I've changed them yet I ask him why he wants to know so badly?????

Re: Kinda morbid but...
My DH recently added me as his beneficiary which I don't believe was too time consuming.

Re: Kinda morbid but...
We were eaach other beneficiaries for awhile now sooo that was one less paperwork thing we had to do I would do it as soon as you can.
ETA: If you are changing your name, I'd wait until that is completed so you don't have to change documents again!

Re: Kinda morbid but...
I started changing beneficiaries right after the wedding, did some more during the 'open season' for HR, and just completed our wills and POAs with our lawyer, although a will kit would suffice just fine for making wills.
