Not that I am the traditional type but I did think it would have been nice to have a thank you that added personal touch by us looking into the camera, unfortunately I dont have one i am that crazy about and I have a shot of us kissing that I love. It is sepia as well which to me looks arisitc but I had such a bright colored wedding that my mother sais this is also a mistake, i am so confused, any suggestions/opinions etc.

I much prefer professional photos where the subjects are NOT looking into the camera.

In our TY we weren't looking into the camera... i think it's fine & not a mistake.

I also like the pictures where you aren't facing the camera better - I say go for it!
But, this is all about personal preference. I chose to get a pose looking in the camera, some people would rather a fun, nontraditional, and others a kissing pic. If you are happy with it, that's all that matters.
Now go scan it for us!!

I need to see it to decide. I LOVE the sepia look photos. I felt a kissing photo was a bit much for most of my family to get though.

I was thinking of the same thing....
The one I want to use is a piture of my DH and I from a distance, and we are not facing the camera.
It's really cool, though, because he's on one knee in front of me, and I'm 'knighting' him with a sword! (we had a renaissance wedding..)
So I thought it would be unique to use it, but wasn't sure.....
Actually, I think whatever picture you pick is fine. After all, who cares what people think? You can't please 'em all anyway!

Ugh I need a scanner but I do love the photo, it is very artistic looking, It takes 3 weeks to get printed and its already been 2 months since the wedding so i better just order. Thanks for the input, I'll try to find a scanner too

I think if you really like it go for it. Im a big fan of the bride/grrom looking into the camera. Ours was.

I used a pic that we werent facing the camera as a thank you pic. It was a B/W pic of us on the water with the city background and he was kissing me while he was dipping me. I got soooo many compliments on the pic. It's my FAVE pic - so much that I opted to have it blown up and used as my 16x20 portrait. Use whatever you love.
