So, I have changed my name with SS, Passport, DMV and bank accounts. Haven't changed my name on my credit cards or student loans yet. Will the CC companied require a copy of my marrige cert to do so? Is it a pain?

Some will need some sort of proof.....some of mine just changed it over the phone with nothing.

i was able to change my 2 credit cards over the phone - they didnt ask for any proof.

Only the bank asked for proof. The CC companies just changed it based on my phone call.
Some places make you show ID when you use a CC so make sure that it matches your ID. (My ID has both my maiden and new last names on it so I have a lot of flexibility.)
