Labels to address TY's (Tacky or No?)

Original post by OctBride03

Please let me know what you think....

I haven't written TY's out yet, but am thinking of having all the addresses on a template for labels so that I can send them out as soon as I have them done.

Are labels tacky???

PS - am I spelling labels right?

I hand wrote all mine, I was in newlywed bliss I would have gladly done labels if it had hit me to.

We did exactly this for our wedding, thank you cards AND Christmas cards. Tacky or not we did it and it's done. We both work F/T and don't have the time to sit and hand write 300 thank you's and addresses and envelopes. It saved us a lot of time by printing labels for our wedding, thank you cards AND Christmas cards. We sent at least 250 thank you's including vendors because they did a fabulous job. In fact many of our guests complimented us for being so organized and very detailed-oriented.
