Its pretty easy:

get 8-10 Little neck clams
1 bottle clam juice
2 cans chopped clams (in the tuna section in the supermarket)
3 scallions
fresh parsley (3 -4 tablespoons)
1/4 cup white wine
2 tablespoons lemon juice
fresh pepper
1 lb. linguine
2 to 3 cloves garlic, chopped fine

1. In a medium bowl, fill with water (doesnt matter what tempertaure) and a tablespoon or so of baking soda. Put clams in water to soak for 5 - 10 minutes.
2. While clams soak, put olive oil in bottom of pan and allow to heat on low. Add garlic and lightly brown. Once garlic is browned (be careful not to burn) add white wine, lemon juice, and clam juice. simmer on low flame for several minutes.
3. While sauce is simmering, remove clams from bowl, and rinse under water for several seconds, and put aside.
4. Cut scallions into small pieces and add to sauce. Add both cans of chopped clams, fresh ground pepper to taste, and parsley. Stir well.
5. Add cleaned clams to sauce and cover. Maintain heat on LOW flame. Cook until all the clams open up.
6. Pour sauce and opened clams over linguine and serve.

*takes about 30 minutes*

For presentation purposes, I keep the clams in the shell. However, if you reheat the dish, dont put the shells int he microwave
