Re: Las Vegas hotels??
Ive stayed at Bellagio twice...the rooms are REALLY dark...so i wont stay there again it used to be my favorite place to stay. Ive stayed at the Venitian and definitly recommend it b/c the rooms are huge and full of light. I have a thing with dark hotel rooms i cant stand them. Next month were going to vegas and well be staying at the hotel Mandalay Bay, weve never stayed there before, but its an all suite hotel and the all the rooms have been recently remodeled, so it should be nice.

I loved the hard rock & would definately recommend looking into it. Even it's a little more it's worth it. The pool is so nice and it's just a fun atmosphere.

Re: Las Vegas hotels??
i stayed at mirage for my bach. party and while i loved the hotel itself and the pool, i hatttttted the old school room!!! they have started to remodel them, but i have no idea how long they'll take to do them all.
theHOTEL at mandalay bay is the all suites hotel and its fab.
the wynn has beautifullllll rooms, paris rooms are nice and big, but they were not my personal taste (french country style).
bellagio and venetian are pretty centrallly located which is a good thing, i'm dying to stay at the venetian!

Re: Las Vegas hotels??
I have been 5 times and here are my reviews of where I stayed
Hard Rock - fun hotel, off the strip, 20-somethings looking to get laid.
Monte Carlo - right in the middle of the strip, a decent hotel, but now had a fire
Mandalay Bay - at the end of the strip, beds are hard as rocks, but cool-everything-you-need type of hotel (even has a mall)
The Hotel at Mandalay Bay - my favorite by far. Comfortable. new, clean
MGM Grand - awesome rooms, comfortable beds, good location
check out tripadvisor - I always use them before I go anywhere

Re: Las Vegas hotels??
We are going in 2 weeks and staying at the Monte Carlo. The other people we are going with picked this hotel based on past experiences.

Re: Las Vegas hotels??
I've stayed in both. Bellagio is a higher end vs. Mirage. Mirage is really nice too though. I recommend Bellagio because it's right in the middle of the strip. Plus reserve a fountain view room. It's beautiful!
ETA: I've stayed at many hotels in Vegas - Flamingo, Excalibur, Monte Carlo, MGM, Ballys, Tropicana, Bellagio and Mirage. Monte Carlo is really nice and it's very reasonable.

Love Love Love the Mirage...besides Mandalay Bay I think it has the best pool on the strip. Our room was beautiful too....I think they had just updated them all recently.

Re: Las Vegas hotels??
We were just at Bellagio in February. The room was amazing. I wouldn't say there were older stuffy people but it's a more mature crowd. I absolutely loved it. Next time I'd like to try the Venetian or Mandalay Bay.
