my ex boyfriend had this done and told me it was the best thing ever. He went to that 666 building on Old Country Road actually lol At least I think that is where he went. I don't know the doctors name, and I don't know of anyone else that does it. From what I hear (even advertisments on the radio every morning) it's a great improvement. :)

try searching b/c I remember a few months back (or a year -i have no concept of time) someone asked and there were quite a few doctors recommended.
I used Stahl in Garden City 3 years ago and had NO issues whatsoever but had heard a few people on here say they weren't thrilled with them.

I work for a Retinal specialist (back of the eye) and a lot of our pt's that come with retinal detachments recently had laser surgery. A retinal detachment in some cases results in vision loss so be careful. our docs dont recommend getting it done

A guy i work with just had this done and his vision is not perfect (yet). He was just put BACK on a steroid to hopefully improve one of his eyes. He's still NOT happy he had it done - so please, be careful...(he's not upset he had it done - but still not satisfied).

Do you mean lasik? Or surgery for a medical problem?
Regardless, I used Dr Zwiebel in Smithtown for my lasik and he was awesome. MIL worked with him at St Catherine's hospital in the OR, so we were confident w/his skills.
DH & I had it together, and we had better than perfect vision the next morning.

I had PRK done by Dr. Eric Mandel in NYC, he has his own website mandelvision.com - i couldn't be happier with my results!
