Not sure where I will wind up but Cira convinced me to check out Garden City - we were/are afraid it may be out of our reach. We have been leaning more towards South Bellmore ... before last night!We shall see where we wind up. The only thing we are sure of is we want to stay in Nassau - preferrable 45 (or less) on a local train from NYC....so that limits up right away...and of course in a good school district.

LisaT - the ID'ed you...I thought Cira and I were the only two....I hate looking young sometimes...30 and still get proofed everywhere I go!

Denise - all three of us got IDed (Teri, Erica & I), and then I realized I didn't have my license in my wallet. I had taken it out to use to get on the plane. Luckily, Erica had two IDs - one with her maiden name. Obviously they didn't look too closely

Niecey, you have to let us know how your tour went! Also, not sure if you checked this out already, but Newsday has a list of all stats from LI schools - it was in Friday's paper! Bellemore rated pretty high as well as Garden City.

Cira - did you see the town (Old Field) that Newsday focused on this week? That's where my reception was held....if only we could afford a home in THAT town I'd deal with DH's commute!!

You guys - I almost surprised you all and showed up on Thurs nite...you were right around the corner from my Mom's, so it would have been super convenient. However, I could NOT get Paul to cooperate and go to sleep and I could not just walk out on hubby w/Paul being such a crank pot, so my surprise plan was foiled!
