Lauren, I tried making the Oreo Dessert...but the Cream Cheese some pieces was still clumpy...should I have melted the Cream Cheese alittle more, or made it Room Temp...it was still Cold when I mixed it so it was Hard to Mix Up

I don't melt it. I use a hand mixer to get it smooth, and then after that take an egg beater and get all of the rest of the clumps out. It can get a little clumpy if you don't mix it long enough.
How did it taste????

I didn't mind the Clumps...but DH didn't like it..

I have to Hand Mixer it next time///

I am sorry he didn't like it! Is he a vanilla person?? They have a vanilla version.

I really am not a Cholcate person, but I LOVED IT!!!!

I made candied yams as one of my dishes last year and they were a huge hit.

INGREDIENTS
4 sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/2 cup water
1 cup butter
2 cups white sugar

DIRECTIONS
In a large pot over medium heat, place potatoes in water. Top with butter and sugar, cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, without stirring, until mixture is thick and syrupy, 40 minutes. Mixture will thicken slightly as it cools. Remove from heat and serve warm.

Anytime. One of my old boyfriend's moms always made it and when we broke up, I went through Thanksgiving withdrawal because of them, so I found a recipe and now I feel whole again haha. They're the highlight of my Thanksgiving.

It sounds SOo GOOD!!!!!

It's pretty much the same, only instead of chocolate pudding you use vanilla pudding.
Also instead of oreo cookies you can use Vienna fingers or the vanilla oreos.

2 versions...wondering could you put in in a Pie Crust.

Oreo Pie Crust
and Grahm Crakcer Pie Crust.....Sounds Yummy to me!!!!

This is the recipe...
Bowl 1
1/2 stick margerine
I small cream cheese
1/2 cup powered sugar

Bowl 2
1 packet instant pudding (chocolate or vanilla)
1 3/4 cup milk
6 oz cool whip

Mix bowl one and bowl two together.
layer with 1/2 box vienna fingers or chocolate oreo cookies.
put in fridge for 4 hours before serving.

MMMMM yummy. I'm sorry I asked. Now I HAVE to make this and because the chocolate sounds so good, I think I'll make that one. Too bad DH is allergic to chocolate and can't have any.
