I started eating the Lean Cuisine and Weight Watchers. When I told my doctor, he said that they are full of sodium...and not all that good for you.

I always buy the santa fe rice & beans from either brand. The WW one is a little spicy though.

oh, i love Lean Cuisine Pizzas - like the French Bread and the Three Cheese one. Mmmm!!
But I have to agree with DeeDee1013. It really is full of sodium and causes you to retain a lot of water. So if you're trying to lose weight, I wouldn't have too many. I used to be a weightloss counselor and we always told our clients that Lean Cuisine is FINE as long as it's only 1 or 2 a week - never more. Otherwise you'll find that the weightloss process stalls. If you're just trying to stay healthy and MAINTAIN, however, then it's fine (but I'd still limit it just to be on the safe side) HTH

I prefer a lot more lean cuisine meals to WW meals. I love the lean cuisine bowls. My fave is the 4-cheese rigatoni. All the bowls are fantastic. I like a lot of the lean cuisine spa cuisines.
You should also check out healthy choice. They have some great ones that are low points and less sodium than the others. I find that walmart and most targets have a large variety of all of them and they are priced much better than at supermarkets.

My mom is in the medical field and told me the same thing. She said to stay away from frozen meals because of the sodium. It can actually make you retain weight instead of lose it.

Thanks for the suggestions and advice. I guess they aren't as good for you as I thought!

I like the SPA lean cuisines, they are lower in sodium. There is one that I think is a lemon chicken with brown rice that is good.
