Laurie - thank you for reminding me that Ash Wednesday is quickly approaching!

For those of us who celebrate Lent/Easter...

Whatcha given up this year???



Yeaaa - I havent decided yet. I'm bad and usually say to myself I give up gluten (which i have no choice but to do...)

I'd like to give up something...chocolate maybe? I have such a hard time though b/c I have an insanely sweet SWEET TOOTH

I love my easter peeps...and i gave them up 1 year. It was rough, but so worth it on Easter when I was able to eat them. They never tasted so good!

i think im going to give up potatoe chips and any kind of chip for that matter, and candy!! LOL

it will help with my diet too! LOL

I need to give up slacking on LIW/LIF

I realized how much I miss it.

I suppose that is not really giving something up, so I'll give up sweets! (I do every year)

Do you have to give up something when your pregnant? Don't you fall into the young children/elderly category there? Am I making excuses already.

I'm thinking of giving up sweets....but considering it's tax season, I may not be able to hold out on hitting the sweets!

I'll think of something...I hope!

Nope, not an excuse you get a pass! ANd you can eat meat on Fridays too

Same here...I won't go on my soapbox about it because no one wants to hear it, but I have very strong sentiments about it, and it's definitely going to be a sturggle now because DH is VERY VERY EXTREMELY religious, and fasts, and I have to cater to that now so I'm being forced to fast myself unless I want to cook two dinners every night, and I'm having a lot of trouble coming to terms with that.
