Let's talk New Years Resolutions

Let's talk New Years Resolutions

Every year I think about this - sometimes I end up saying 'F it' and other times I actually try to stick to something. Last year was the first time I actually did what I set out to do - lose weight for the wedding. This year I want to keep working out and get stronger and more toned, and I also want to accomplish some of the projects that keep accumulating in my house.

How do you guys do with this? What are your resolutions this year?

Re: Let's talk New Years Resolutions

Hmmmmmm, I always Tryyyyyyyy but don't usually achieve all/most of them. I am weak willed and have no follow through skills. pfffft.
This year, will be all about

LOSING: cigarettes
WINNING: my dust bunny war

KEEPING: DH happy
LETTING GO: Of the 3000 clothing items I hang/fold/store every year but will NEVER WEAR AGAIN.

ADDING: more hobbies, creative outlets and leisurely activities (i.e., things I cannot do from the COUCH).
SUBTRACTING: Superfluous spending, I'm so BAD and DH is trying to get me on a budget [chill runs up spine]; the very word just makes me sad.

We'll see how it goes, but I'll take ANY improvements I can get!!!!!

I've realized I can't keep one no matter what I do. And I refuse to 'wish for' crap this year cause everything I thought I wanted, the quote 'be careful what you wish for' smacked me in the face many times... So I'm just hoping for a good year, with little change

My New Year's resolution is to be a good wife.
When we were just living together, I didn't really pay attention to being a good girlfriend. Now, I find myself being not as supportive of DH as I should be as a wife. So that's my resolution.

I really do try to keep mine, but I never do. I'm happy if it lasts about a week. But I since the wedding I have gained a lot of weight and I am really not happy. I'm just going to try to work on one thing at a time. Good luck to everyone
