I seriously need to STOP reading the LIF Relationship boards. Ugg omg i feel so bad for some of these women. I mean cheating husbands or some that never even explain as to why they want a divorce. Its so sad. Im torn because i feel so lucky & happy that Me & DH have an honest healthy relationship. Yet i feel so bad for them. Ugg Im thinking that board just isnt for me.

That forum is really tough to look at. Sometimes there are lighter topics, but so much of it is really sad and depressing. It's great people have an outlet for their troubles, but I agree with you and I steer clear most of the time...

It def is sad to see... Im sure almost all of those girls didnt go into marriage thinking they would end up at that point... Same could be said for any of us over here... Never know what the future holds

Its such a depressing board. I have posted a couple of times because since the wedding is over & we are not TTC, I feel like I am in limbo.

I know i think thats whats even sadder. That they were probably so super happy just a few years ago & then what happens??? Its crazy. So sad.

I post here and there... but its sad to read their stories. I just don't go into that board as much. I believe marriage is sacred! But if for some reason it doesn't work for someone I'm not one to judge. I just get sad reading those sad stories.

that board can be very sad..I hate when you hear those stories..some of the posts are about sexual positions and stuff so that can be fun but as for the downside to relationships..

I disagree with you and everyone else about not going on the board - face it that's real life people fight and have issues and sometimes even get divorced. Stuff like that is everywhere, books, tv, friends, family just because women and sometimes men go on a board to get support or have a shoulder to cry on when life is hard doesnt mean it should depress you. I've been married a year and a half and we've had ups and downs and sometimes I can relate to things some women say and sometimes I feel like I can benefit from it because some of the issues that led to problems in their marriages can serve as a warninng sign in my own. I think it's beneficial to see what other people say and I think it's good to be a friend to those that need it and say some encouraging words. Not to start something here but you cant just avoid it and say the boards just depressing. And I'm guessing most people on here missed the weeks of sex discussions all of which were hilarious. I come on here once and a while to see what some of the 09ers are up to and to look at wedding pictures but I spend my time on LIFamilies now because the wedding part is over now it's about marriage and I find that I have more to discuss and talk about there. Between all the boards there's always something to talk about not just about how bad a relationship is. Divorce is more common now than ever, some of us may be posting things like that in a few years and I'd like to think we'd all be there to support anyone who needed it and not avoid the boards altogether because we didnt want to read something that's sad and depressing.
