Lindenhurst GTG

Ladies...I know I don't belong on this board, but to follow-up on a previous post (from a lot of you newlyweds, I'm posting here).

Would you be available for a GTG in Lindenhurst on:

Wed., July 13
Thurs., July 21
Friday, July 22
Sat., Aug. 6

Weeknights would be 7 or 730 to accommodate city working girls

Sat would be afternoon.

We could do: Outback, Doc Le Lau, Mexican or wherever...

All are welcome!!!

I'm going to post on NWR also

Thursday 7/21 works a little better for me than Friday 7/22 b/c my sister's engagement party is on Saturday - but I can probably make either. should be fun!

I would love to make this GTG seeing it is in my hometown BUT we are closing on our house this week or next and I can't commit myself to anything being the house needs so much work and we have to live in it and do all the work at the same time. I will check back and see what day you girls decide on I will try to make it.

This week is horrible for me, but I could probably make either the 21st or 22nd.

Is there a mexican place in Lindenhurst? Where?

There is also that new 'Spoon' place on Wellwood that is a coffee and dessert place. I've been wanting to check that out.

I go to the Spoon 1 or 2 a week I love it!!!! The food is so good the best spinach & artichoke dip!

Do you guys want to do Fri. the 22nd?

Not sure what they have at Spoon. I was just telling FH it looks really cool. We could do that.

Only Mex. place I know of is Meson Ole & I was told it is pretty expensive.

Is Spoon okay w/ everyone? Or do you want to do dinner?

Who is in if it is on the 22nd?

I'm pretty sure I'm in...at least for a while. I might have to leave a little early if it is the 22nd. Spoon works for me, but so do other places. I'm not a huge fan of Meson Ole, but I'll go wherever the consensus is.

Yes you can they have excellent salads, sandwiches and the always have a soup of the day. They also have Apperitzers, desserts & breakfast.

It's on Wellwood, right off Hoffman (on side opposite OLPH).

Hi Lindenhursters! I'll soon be among the ranks of the Lindenhurst LIW/LIF'ers. We're expecting to close within the next month, just waiting for survey to be completed to get a date set. Hopefully we'll be all moved in by the end of August.

I wish I could join you for this but we are so busy chasing after attorney's and mortgage brokers trying to get a close date and packing and ton's of family obligations this month. I hope that a GTG can happen again sometime this fall so I can meet you all.

Me, too. I totally thought I was going yesterday and now, I can't. I am really sorry - things are kinda touch and go around my house these days . . . long story Hope to meet you all soon!
