I watched it last night and still like it! I'm surprised that it's so interesting to me. Definitely does NOT replace sex and the city but give me something to watch on thursday nights.

Me too Ev! They're definitely benefiting from the lack of cross-programming. The storylines are pretty crappy but I'm mesmerized by Nico's eyeshadow and Wendys wardrobe. The purple Louboutins she wore last night had me drooling...

I started watching a little of it. I am not loving it like SATC. SATC has permanently ruined my perception of what is good TV!
But I will give it a whirl. Lipstick Jungle is my read when we leave for Puerto Rico on March 13th!

I thinkit's getting better and better. At first I thought it was trying to be SATC but now I see it'snot that at all. I like that they are all high powered women in VERY different places. Same premise as SATC, but they are in VERY different places. I really like it!

I have lipstick jungle and waiting to read it when we go to Cabo in April Hope you like it. I read 1/2 of her '4 Blondes' and had to put it away - very bad in my opinion

I LOVE her eyeshadow too!!!! Everytime she closes her eyes I pause the show and try to examine very very closely how I can recreate that look

4 Blondes was not great. Trading Up was a whole other story-I would recommend that!
I will give you my full review of the Lipstick Jungle Book when I get back from Puerto Rico!

I'm enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would! I haven't watch Cashmere Mafia, for some reason it just didn't appeal to me.
Nothing will ever compare to SATC though ....

I like it too. It will never be like Sex and the City because it is on regular TV, but it's OK.
It is certainly better that Cashmire Mafia.

I love it. I never watched Sex In The City though. I tivo it if I'm busy. I guess you can say I'm a big fan.There are very few shows that I like.

I DVR'd the first episode and the darn DVR deleted it before I got to watch it (my fault though- I'm new to DVR). I DVR'd this past episode and have it set to record every week. I have to watch it! I have a bad habit of 'taping' shows and never watching them though!
What I loved most about SATC...besides the characters and their friendship...was the humor. Does this show have similar humor or no? Is it just a 'sexy powerful women' show?

Yes it does have similar humor. It also has 3 friends who are all at different places in their life. Last thursdays show was GREAT!
