Chris really doesn't do anything that annoys me. He's very clean to live with and always cleans up after himself. He helps around the apartment with all the work. If I had to choose something it would be that he's a slow mover in the morning. But it doesn't really annoy me, so I'm not even sure if it counts. I pick on him about how slow he is in the morning. It's like our little joke everday.

If I could say anything it would be that hubby isa tad on the lazy side when it comes to home chores- but he works hard all day at his job so I have to cut him some slack.
Our ideas of cleaning or a bit different, I like to clean every day as to not have a 'big clean day'
He likes to have a 'big clean day' at let things get that way
Im reading the book 'Dont sweat the small stuff' and it really has put things into a different perspective for me

Antoinette, I think Roger and your hubby went to that same school of thought he did not believe in the clean as you go system either, he preferred to do 'BIG CLEAN' when I told him that I refused to spend all my weekends doing BIG CLEANING, he started cleaning as he go. It makes life so much easier.

bite his nails...and even worse when he does it in public!!!!sam...DH does the water all over the sink and floor too...
and he will answer his cell phone no matter what...I understand that he has to for work...but when its not work, you can tell the people you will call them right back...DH has left me by myself talking to salesmen a number of times...I cannot stand that
but DH loves to vaccuum!! and he is very tidy in the kitchen...and all around the house in general...so I take the bad with the good!!

Alright shamma, now I feel guilty
But on the brighter side.....he's a huge help with our daughter, he does help with the cleaning, he's a chef, so obviously he does some cooking, but I feel bad b/c he's does it all day. Who wants to bring work home? He does do a lot of good things, and of course, they weigh out the bad. Just can't seem the get the garbage bag thing down. And he's standing over me right now laughing about this!My daughter trashes my car, and he cleans it all out for me. And the best thing of all....mush here....he makes me smile...and laugh. In time I will look over the garbage pail,

When I am on the phone long distance and DH is trying to have a conversation with me?? Why do men do that?
Papers everywhere!!!!! I hate clutter!! God forbid he should throw paper out!! He might need it in the next lifetime or something
But considering those are his biggest flaws, I'm more than willing to deal!!
Truth be told he puts up with a lot more than I do!!

Well let's see...* He does not keep our apt. neat and tidy.
* He always plays video/computer games which takes away spending time with me.
* He leaves glasses everywhere in the apt. either half empty or 1/4 full. It turns into a collection by his night stand, computer desk and dinning table. He doesn't bring his glasses to the sink.
* He cuts his toe nails in our bedroom in front of me rather than cutting them in the bathroom. Yuk!

hmmm...I agree with Shamma that life is too short to get really frustrated but there are some little things that do NOT make my life easier!
-water all over the sink and sometimes floor
-dirty clothes NEXT to the hamper
-dirty dishes with napkins stuck to them!! grrr
-snack wrappers left around
-using a 'new' glass for each new glass of ice tea
-not emptying the ashtray at the end of the night.
On the flip side, when it is time to clean, he loves to really scrub the kitchen and to vaccuum with the carpet powder!

We've only been married a month and so far so good - he doesn't make me too crazy. I've learned to ignore most of the things he does b/c he really does so many wonderful things for me that I can't complain.However, if I had to pick one it would definitely be leaving his dirty q-tips on the counter in the bathroom..........totally skeeves me.

If he gets up late he still takes his sweet time instead of trying to speed up and be on time.He hits the snooze button like 4 times in the morning. I get up on the first ring
(This also wakes up the baby which a lot of times I have just gotten back to sleep
)But he cleans all the time so I never complain about these things

* He can fall asleep ANYWHERE at anytime and his snores could saw wood. I'm jealous that he can fall asleep so quickly! * He also takes out the garbage and only occasionally replaces the bag. I even made the task easier for him by putting a stack of new bags in the bottom of the can so he doesn't even have to go to the closet to get one!
* He hands me the phone after chatting with whomever is calling me and never tells me who it is! Sometimes he'll say 'it's your sister'. I have 5 of 'em, could you be a bit more specific?!?
I love him more than life itself.

He snores but we found breathright snore spray and that helps. I try not to sweat the small stuff. Actually that is why I watch my Soap Opera's they make my complaints and stress feel like nothing!! When I see the Husbands on the soaps lying and cheating and killing, I think wow my problems look so small compared to those!!

He never picks up after himself....He talks really loud when he's on the phone, thus affecting my ability to hear the TV
Sometimes forgets to flush when he peepee's...EWWWW!
Can't sit still....he paces while on the phone back and forth through the apartment, and if I do get him to sit still for a minute or 2, he is tapping his foot. Drives me nuts!

My DH doesn't really do a lot that annoys me at all.
The one thing he does that is an issue for me is that he spreads himself too thin helping his friends and family, while his own house and life are neglected. For example, we don't have our clothes dryer hooked up yet, and we ran out of clean towels this morning. I'm doing a load now that I'm going to have to hang up and they'll be all stiff and scratchy! I hate that!!
He's off from work today and instead of hooking up our dryer, he's at a friends house helping HIM to electric stuff. Grrrrrrrrr.
He does it from a generous heart, though. So it's hard to be angry about it.
I suppose that's the ONE thing he does that annoys me. Helps others to his own, and now my, detriment.
As Shamma and Jenn said... it could be worse. I really can't complain.

Karen, my preserved bo-k just got hung a whole year later. That is how Roger is too. He will go to anyone else's home and fix and paint and move, but leave his own house to fall apart. That man has a heart of gold I tell ya
