i originalyy said the church i got married in has a big space they rent out in the gym we coud use..it has tables and chairs and a kitchen so it would be good but im down for anywhere
i know queens is far for most so if u guys want to do something in the middle say a park or something im fine and id even go to someones house in suffok
also do we want to keep this as a shower..thats what i wanted to give the preggos gifs,play some games etc etc and make it potluck but again im open for anything so please satae what u would like

Well as stated in the other post i think a nw bbq is best for everyone that way not one person will feel left out!!!
But reguardless as to what everyone decides... The idea of a pot luck sounds fantastic and i think someones yard or a park would be super nice! There are many places that have tons of shelter from the hot hot sun!

OK so now getting more of a feel for the idea I am totally in. I saw it as a bit of a financial burden as well, but it sounds like we are getting this under control and it was all misread. I would love to see everyone and a potluck sounds great, especially after compiling the cookbook and knowing all the recipes we are capable of.
I love the idea of doing it in a backyard and the Duda residence would be nice and central... but then I am not pregnant, so I understand the need to stay out of heat. Queens would be tough for me and I have to admit the idea of being inside on a summer weekend kind of kills me, but I support whatever we all decide.
If we did want to do a yard we could put up some of those canopy tents. I know DH has one and I would volunteer it. Maybe some fans?

good idea! i really want to come, ive never been to any of the get togethers Park doesnt sound good for pregnant women! ...because of the heat, and also about the bathroom situation! heard pregnant ladies need to use the bathroom frequently and the park bathrooms are usually gross

I love the park idea, we had my 30th birthday bbq at Eisenhower last year and it was so much fun! They already have the tables there so we wouldn’t have to worry about that, but…
If you want to reserve an area, you need to have a leisure pass and pay a fee (I forget how much it was.) Otherwise they have one or two areas that are open to whoever, which is what we did, BUT we had to get there at like 8am to reserve a spot because it gets super crowded on the weekends in nice weather.
