Good news is that the cookbook is halfway done. i designed the cover and intro page and even DH gave the thumbs up. Done most of the entrees, desserts and appetizers and chicken recipes thanks to some very special ladies who helepd with the editing (cause God knows I STINK at it):

Now the bad news...I cannot take any more submissions... The good news is that we got waaaay more than we ever expected but the bsd news is that we got SO many that we went over what the original budget was planned to be. I don't wnat it to be over $30.00 because then it gets too pricey for any of us to want to buy it with all else we have to pay for in our lives. as it is I am having to cut a few recipes of my own to make space for others becase I dont want to cut anyone else's.
The thing literally has over 160 pages at this point and Im not even 3/4 done.
There is a $10 off coupon for blurb that expires June 20th so i want to get this done before then so we can all use it-I'd post that along with the link.
So thanks to everyone who sent in stuff. can't wait to make it all!

LOL OK. Im cutting out the ones that duplicate-like we have 3 spinach dip recipes but me and another liw girl submitted TONS so Im cutting mine and seeing if I can put hers and the other girls on the same page. Stuff like that. we might have two recipes per page if they're short enough.
Im glad you like the carbonara! You ahve to ry my 'Clean out the fridge pasta' lmao Its GREAT for when you have veggies like peppers and onions that are starting to go soft and wrinkly but you cant justify dumping them yet.

Awesome! The pic page isnt being worked on yet so send it when you have time. I still ahve tons to do with getting the recieps copied and pasted to blurb format then putting them under the correct subtopic..PITA!

eh keeps me occupied when DH isnt home. This week he has been home every night wwhich is nice but...kinda missing ym 'freedom'-akak leaving dirty dishes in the sink or my socks on the floor for the cats to attack...ahh next week is almost here!

I will. I need to figure out hwo to share the book without fully publishing it. That way you can help me go throug it and make sure I didnt miss anything.
The biggest issue is some of the recipes are too long to fit on one page and others are just an @ss hair from being short enough to fit 2 per page so you get two short essentially wasted space pages.
I am trying to go back and see what can be doubled up. I was trying to keep it all alphapehitcal within its section but that wont work with oubling up so screw it. It will still be easily navigatable.
