Look What I Did!

Just figured out how to do this (with the help of a Photoshop book)...but I work in Photoshop all the time and now with a ton of wedding pics to play with, I am gonna go nuts!!!

Very, very nice! I have been begging my hubby to do this to some of our proofs for me...he just hasn't had the time to play around w/Photoshop.

Stacey, very cool!!

Now there's no need to pay for your photographer to do this!

See I have been trying to do it for the life of me and I still haven't learned yet You should see some of the mess that I come up with. Kittye79 did a couple for me which are very beautiful too. Thanks for sharing, you look so happy

Re: Look What I Did!

Thanks for the compliments girls, I would love the pic if my Dad wasn't bawling his eyes out and looking up (maybe that adds some sentiment!? !) Actually it is very easy to do in Photoshop but I would be more than happy to do some for you guys, just forum mail me and I will give you my home e-mail. It takes maybe 10 minutes if you know Photoshop. Pics are better that have flowers in them...

Apples...oh yeah, just wait till my proofs come in!

I did this to a few of my shots but Im wondering...is there anything else I can have the color in besides flowers. My flowers were dark red and dont really 'pop' as well in a photo like this. Suggestions?

Stef, what about making the background b/w, but bride/groom leaving color or the other way around? What about groom's tie/vest or the bm dresses in the group picture? Also, you took some on the NYC streets, right, how about keeping the yellow cab yellow, and b/w everywhere else? Or you can also take a picture of you with toasting flutes, and make it b/w, with champagne in color?

You can also visit photographer websites for ideas...
Lia from imagine, and colmweddings (as much as I hate the guy) are two that stand out.

Stace,
I love that pic of you!!!! You look so happy!
I played with photoshop too.
Here's one that I did that didn't have flowers(the quality of the photo is terrible)I'm going to do it again.
It's my Mom & her crazy friend

Kelly, that was too cute! Great touch and I don't think it looks bad!

I like the idea of taking the background bw and the people up front in color. You have to keep trying and play around. What about pics with mirrors in the background? Make the mirror reflection color and the actual people bw, or vice versa.
