Looking for a 4 day 2nd HM in the Caribbean

DH and I want to take a 2nd mini-HM in the Caribbean maybe in January or February. We want a place that caters to adults because on our HM when we were in Maui, there were screaming kids running around everywhere. Not what we wanted for a HM.

Anyone have any suggestions? I'm not even sure which island, we just want it in the Caribbean.

how about a Breezes or Beaches. I heard Turks and Caicos is very nice.
You can go to Dominican Republic pretty cheap

I've heard wonderful tings about the Dominican Republic too... I'll look into it. I definitely (I think) want an all inclusive if we go to the Caribbean.

The other place I was thinking is Puerto Vallarta. I was there a few years ago and had a great time. I was there for a whole week. We paid $800 for air and lodging. Food not included, but I thought that was a GREAT price. I want to look into that too.

We booked our anniversary trip for next month. We originally want to go somewhere in the Caribbean. We're going to Mexico instead to an all inclusive resort. Still the Caribbean (east coast of Mexico) but was more reasonable as far as costs, and takes about the same amount of time to get there.

Maybe bahama's since it's not too far of a plane trip. I went to the Alantis for a vacation - very nice. A friend of mine went to the Sandals - loved it. My parents loved the Radison there as well.

Dominican Republic, it's very nice and inexpensive. We went there 3 years ago - 7 days 6 nights at the 5 star resort, all inclusive, Jr. suite and paid $2400 for both of us. In fact we're plaiing on going back in 2 years.

We were looking for the same thing but we ended up deciding not to do it since we just went to contract on a house. We were thinking about a 4-day/3-night cruise to the Bahamas on Royal Caribbean. It would have cost us $1000 for an oceanview cabin and it included airfare - Great deal. We also looked into some other places and the DR was one of them - Definitely the most affordable island I found. As for the Bahamas, the Atlantis is a beautiful hotel (we were there 2 weeks ago) but there were TONS of kids there so I wouldn't recommend it if you are planning on going during a school vacation.
