Looking for an apt & prayers for my brother

I cant get into all the details at this time, but my brother has to move out of his apt ASAP like within 2-3 days. My parents are willing to let him stay at their house for a little while, but he needs to find another apt soon. Looking in Eastern Nassau/Western Suffolk, looking for a 1 bdr & looking to pay no more than $1200-1250, & hopefully only 1 months security - clean, non-smoking.

My brother is 37(almost 38), a working professional & a non-smoker w/ no pets.

Has he looked on craigslist? or apartments.com?
Even try the Pennysaver/Yankee Trader.

did you check for any apt or house rentals on craigst list? sometimes its helpful...good luckk, hope everything works out

um..click on search..

then in word or phrase type in the word: apartment

keep it for all forums... bc I think some were on BHB and some on NW.... and then click search.

It's the same for LIF too!!!

I KNOW i saw some recently.. with pics and all.

and do google searches too. I'm pretty good at finding apartments. it just takes a lot of work. also, if you are looking at craigs list, just beware of scams! if theres a too good to be true price in relation to the pictures and space and area.... esp if it's an out of state or country landlord that will send keys or something like that. just be very careful on there. but you can find stuff so i do recommend looking.

Also, there should be local papers that have listings of apts for rent. so long as you know the area... if you know anyone who lives there see if they can pick one up for you. I know my local paper comes out every Thursday.... so I'd make sure to buy it on thursday. sometimes by the folling tues/wednesday the good apts are gone already!! so for me it's important to act fast when they come out... i'm assuming it would be the same for you.

i think that what you are looking for though... is GREAT!!! he seems like an ideal candidate and he should DEF be able to find something in that price range!!!!

we have a small 2nd bedroom ...

if things get REALLY bad .... he can stay here!!
