LOST!!!! What did we think?!

Ok ladies, I just learned that the 8pm show is just a recap episode. The real season premiere goes from 9-11 - YAY for being 2 hours! I just found this out on Facebook, actually, so I figured I'd share

I missed all of last season. anyway to catch up or should i wait for the DVDs and when its all finished. no way i can watch it from 8-11 even if i taped it - by the time i have time to watch it - it will be next wed again... i used to LOVE the show. i even have autograph photo and letter from Jorge Garcia

I thought it was good. I did miss the last season and a half so I watched the catch-up hour and then the two hours after that. 3 Hours was too much though!

I think it was good and am still going to get the other seasons and watch them. I know I missed a lot but since I watched from the beginning and then missed it wasn't too hard to catch up and understand what was going on. I still want to see what I missed though.

It was somewhat confusing.

Is Sun bad now??? Is she working for whidmore? Or is she just mad at Kate?

I found that scene to be a bit odd. So she is blaming Kate for Jin's death? I mean, she tried to get them onto the freaking plane! She knew Sun was pregnant, and figured if anyone should die, it should be her (kate).

I also want to know who the lady with the grey hair in the church was. Was she someone working for Darma on the outside? Trying to get things back to normal?

HURLEY PISSED ME OFF lol That crazy *******. I wish he wouldn't have done that. If he woul've just went with Ben! :( Ugh..so frustrating last night.

I really hope they all get back. Sawyer actually pissed me off last night also. Being so macho and 'give me your shirt' lol I died when he said that

And when that guy got hit in the chest with the fire arrow, so great. He was annoying. lol NO one yells at Bernard!

OMG yes! I knew she looked familiar! Holy crap. Good catch :)

I don't trust ben 100% either, but he has the same idea Jack does, and they all know deep down inside that they all have to go back, so why not listen to him since he sort of knows what he is talking about. I trust Ben to the extent that he knows they all need to return to the island in order to set things straight again, but I don't trust him in what he plans to do with the island once there. We will see.

The whole thing with Dan and Desmond, and telling Desmond to go find Dan's mom, was interesting. I am curious to see who she is.

I thought it was a bit confusing also! I agree that that scene w/ Sun & Kate was really odd. I don't think she's bad but I do think she blames Ben for Jin's death which is why she says she and Charles have common interests.

The lady w/ the gray hair was in the episode w/ Desmond like the PP said. She's sort of like psychic I think, or something...

I also was confused by all the different 'flashes.' I thought there was only supposed to be 1 big flash when the island vanished and that was it? I didn't expect there to be tons of them!

the flashes are time shifts. It's like Daniel said, they are jumping off of the 'string'. It makes sense, and I suppose that when the island disappeared, and people left, they shifted the whole space/time continuum. Once everyone is back on the island things should be okay.

Oh, yeah, she is blaming Ben, that makes sense, but I just felt like she was making Kate feel like she was blaming Kate. Just a weird scene.

I think ben is effed up. Like he isn't the best person. Look at what he did when they came to the island- taking people, getting people killed etc. if he were good, they would have helpped everyone from the beginning. But I think he is smart and is needed. I think they need him as much as he needs them, so its a common goal now and they are able to work together. I don't think they need to like him but for now they have to trust him.

Im wondering what happens to claire. Cus she didn't die. She was in jacobs cabin with the ghost of her father. I wonder what will happen with her, kate, and Aaron. Also, do they not need Walt back at the island like they do everyone else?

ETA: And yes, Sawyer and friken hot!

That thought actually crossed my mind, as well, that the old lady might be Daniel's mom. Speaking of Daniel, it was interesting that he was around when they were building The Orchid, at the very start of the episode w/ that doctor Halliwax guy.

That's a very interesting thought that maybe 3 years won't have passed for the people ON the island! And what's the deal w/ Charlotte? She had a nosebleed than a massive headache and couldn't remember her mom's maiden name? I want to know what Daniel says it is.

I thought the same thing that that was Daniels mother. I dont think they will forget or the time passing thing will happen to them b/c it didnt happen to them last night.

Daniel made a comment the end of last season, or charlotte did, about ebing back there meaning they had been there before. I think Charlotte is having a reaction similar to what happened to the man on the freitor who, like Desmond, was shifting through time. He got a nose bleed before he died. When Desmond was back in time and went to see Daniel the first time, Daniel told him he needed to find a constant. I think this has something to do with the times effect on her. I think she will end up dieing.

ETA: Im confused about Locke. I think he is dead for obvious reasons, but when Ben made it seem like he may not be it makes me think they will get to the island before Locke dies. Like time wise...

I agree that I think she's going to end up dying, too. Very interesting stuff!!!

Charlotte doesn't have a constant. Remember when the Captain on the boat had a nose bleed and then died?? Daniel said that Desmond was his constant, if you don't have a constant when you time travel, then you lose everything, memory and eventually your life. So she is going to die soon.
